What An Architect Builds For Himself!Posted: July 17, 2021 | Source: www.compass.com
When award-winning architect Robert A.Odermatt graduated from architecture school at UC Berkeley, he and his wife bought one of three adjacent lots in The Claremont Hills. They built what he calls “an interesting house” that they could afford. After the 1991 Oakland Hills Fire, they bought the vacant adjacent lot to enhance their privacy and spectacular SF Bay and Bridge views for the new dream home they rebuilt in 1994. The home is now for sale at $2.9 million.
