When Art and Architecture chose Richard Neutra for their Case Study Project of private residential designs in 1948, he built a 2,000-square-foot home in L.A.’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood on a wooded bluff above Santa Monica Beach. The home was sold to Dr Stuart Bailey, the first of the Case Study Project homes to be sold to an outside client. The home is now on the market along with a 9,000-square-foot mansion behind the Bailey Case Study House. The two homes are priced at $20 million for both.
