Lee Loomis was a banker who pioneered the use of bullet-proof vehicles to transport cash between banks and businesses. As happened with many of the grand homes in the 1950s and 60s, many of his homes’ best features were covered over such as oak floors covered in linoleum and woodwork hidden behind drywall.
