A recently restored Greenwich home, Hutchins Cottage, was originally owned by Horace A. Hutchins, who sold his oil company and interests to Standard Oil in 1872 and later became the home of the chairman of the National Biscuit Company who created Nabisco’s Oreo cookies. The 10,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom home includes a pool, spa, pergola, cabana, a mahogany wrap-around porch, octagonal tower and “crows nest” with 360-degree views towards Long Island Sound and the New York City skyline. The historic Hutchins Cottage is for sale at $15.9 million.
