Bruce Goff, once referred to as the architectural world’s “ Michelangelo of Kitch,” was a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright and Fran Gehry but most people have never heard of him. He used unusual materials such as orange artificial turf, waste glass, goose feathers and oil rig parts in his home designs. The Guardian has the story.
