The Bad Luck of the Irish!
The Notre Dame football team isn't the only Irish group that is on a bit of a bad run. The entire country is having some bad luck. After a rapid increase in home prices in the late 1990's and early 2000's, it has all fallen apart. Average home sale prices in the country are over 40 per cent lower than their 2006 peak and asking prices in the Dublin area are down about 50 per cent. Irish housing prices are back to their 1999 levels. And the euro problems are compounding the problems. Perhaps it is time for a new coach?
