Las Vegas Outdoor Living Cant Be Beat

There are so many reasons to love living in Las Vegas! No state income tax, affordable housing prices, lots of entertainment and great places to eat. But as I was sitting outside the pool the other day I started thinking to myself how awesome it is that there isn't any mosquitoes or other such pests around to bother me.
In most other states in the nation there are a whole host of flying blood suckers to make spending time outside an ordeal. But the dry desert climate of Las Vegas is perfect for keeping those pests away. If you want to spend the evening outside, there is no need for nasty smelling bug spray and citronella candles. There are just no roving clouds of mosquitoes, horse flies, deer flies or no-see-ums like there are in other areas during the evening hours.
At the same time, that is not to say there are not much less annoying pests but more dangerous pests. Things like scorpions, black widows, brown recluses and killer bees. These pests could be a huge problem, but fortunately are easily taken care of. There are many pest control services in town that work so well, you'll hardly see a bug on your property unless it's dead. Also there are many store bought insecticides that work great and are safe to use with pets in the house.
Actually, the only pests to be heard during the evening in Las Vegas would probably be that of the neighborhood children playing before dinner while the valley cools off after a long day.
